Have you ever felt like your past disqualifies you from God’s love or purpose? Maybe you’ve whispered, “If people knew what I’ve done, they wouldn’t see me the same.” Or perhaps you’ve cried quiet tears, wondering if God really hears you.If that’s you, I want you to know this today: God hasn’t given up on you.<hr><h3 id="f9c17ca0-1763-4314-bc27-f0b5b44fc415" data-toc-id="f9c17ca0-1763-4314-bc27-f0b5b44fc415">1. Your Past Doesn’t Define You</h3>We all have mistakes, regrets, and seasons we wish we could erase. But when you said “yes” to Jesus, He wiped the slate clean. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”Your past no longer defines you—Jesus does. And in Him, you are forgiven, redeemed, and made new.<hr><h3 id="b3368cd6-8dbf-4b6a-aba9-ba64990428ee" data-toc-id="b3368cd6-8dbf-4b6a-aba9-ba64990428ee">2. God Still Has a Plan for You</h3>Sometimes it’s hard to believe that God could use someone like us. But over and over, Scripture shows us that He chooses imperfect people to carry out His perfect plan.<ul><li>Moses doubted himself.</li><li>Rahab had a questionable past.</li><li>Peter denied Jesus three times.</li></ul>Yet every one of them was used powerfully by God. And the same is true for you.<hr><h3 id="ff2b8f62-7cab-49bb-9829-8af2fe817ea6" data-toc-id="ff2b8f62-7cab-49bb-9829-8af2fe817ea6">3. God Sees and Hears You</h3>The whispers of your heart and the tears no one else notices are precious to God. Psalm 56:8 says, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.”He doesn’t miss a single sigh or tear. You are fully known and fully loved.<hr><h3 id="277898ff-f8cd-4215-9e9e-8ad1ddf329e1" data-toc-id="277898ff-f8cd-4215-9e9e-8ad1ddf329e1">A Gentle Encouragement</h3>If you feel unworthy, broken, or overlooked, lean into this truth: God’s love isn’t fragile, conditional, or dependent on your perfection. His love is unshakable, steady, and endless.You don’t have to wait until you’re “good enough” to come close to Him. He welcomes you as you are, right now.<hr>Final Thought God hasn’t given up on you—so don’t give up on yourself.
